ELIGIBLE VENDORS
Eligible vendors who sell at the M.A.R.S.S. Farmers Market must meet all of the following requirements:

• Offer for sale only:

  • Edible goods such as fruit, vegetables, edible grains, nuts and berries, apiary products, maple sugars, or syrups, and/or

  • Non-edible plants, such as cut or potted flowers, and/or

  • Products or services produced by their own work, or the work of their employees or families.

• Offer only products or services listed on their application and approved.

• Hold and display prominently during each Market a valid Illinois sales tax license and, if applicable, a valid Jo Daviess County food service permit.

• Have paid all applicable fees due for their participation in the Market.

Manufactured items are not allowed however, manufactured items that feature the artwork, creative design, music or logo of the vendor are permitted.  For example, a t-shirt or mug displaying the vendor’s artwork is permitted, but a t-shirt displaying the artwork of Claude Monet is not permitted.  Books written and/or illustrated by the vendor are permitted, but a book written by Jane Austen is not permitted. A CD of music written and/or performed by the vendor is permitted, but a CD of music written and/or performed by Taylor Swift is not permitted.

RENTAL FEE
The 2025 fees are:

• Season Pass: $50 for the 2025 Season if Application is received by May 31, 2025

• Weekly Fee: $10 per Saturday for any Saturdays in the 2025 Season. Once a Weekly Fee vendor has submitted an application and has been approved, he/she is eligible to sell at any of the 2025 market dates.
